Fighter Diet calculate your Food Swaps

May 19, 2016 Fighter Diet is my method of s… JavaScript seems to be disabled in your browser. You must have JavaScript enabled in your browser to utilize the functionality of this website. When you use my concept you’ll figure out by your own trial and error the exact amount of food volume you need to feel good and energized.  You select the food you like to eat by using the Fighter diet pyramid book, also in the Concept book . Since different foods have different calorie content and macros it can be tricky to calculate properly. For example you can’t swap 100 grams of red salmon for 100 grams of egg whites and thinking they’ll be the same. When you want to swap veggies, same rule applies. You need to calculate the amount of food you get to match your own macros or calorie range. Example; 100 grams of spinach has 24 calories. You want kale instead. Kale has 50 calories per 100 gram. Hence you need to adjust. The solution there is easy. You choose denser caloric foods for the volume ones using the Concept book. Instead of a huge bowl of cabbage you can shrink the food serving a lot using butternut squash, beets or sweet potato. Another great solution which also helps curb your appetite is getting more fats in. You can hence swap out some of the veggies for fats. But this is a bit trickier since fats contain a lot more calories. You take the food volume of the food you want to swap and then divide it with the calorie count for 100 grams of the food you want to use. Again, the formula you use for adjusting one food group for another is the total calories for your serving, divided by the calorie worth of 100 grams of the food you want to use. If we do it with smaller numbers, using 100 grams it would be 170/24 = 700 grams of cabbage. Never miss Fighter Diet articles again!
