 Hunter Yogg’s Diet Guide! Don’t let Yogg seep into your mind and be the one to control YOU!!!! Instead, put HIM on a DIET! Seen here is an actual decklist based on Jackiechan’s list which has a Hunter deck filled with only control spells, and Yogg. You basically play it by controlling the board until you Yogg, but it’s got its own nuances, like being able to pressure your opponent and winning without Yogg via Hunter cards (Call of the Wild, Lock and Load value) and Hunter hero power, and trying to “heal” through removal (you generally try to minimize damage through total, and even inefficient, use of control cards to just survive long enough to [and to sometimes survive THROUGH] Yogg-Saron). So, a diet? Yes you heard me right, normally you might think to just shovel as many spells as you can into Yogg’s gaping maw, but I think it may actually be more prudent to get him on a proper diet and restrict how many spells you cast. There are a large number of decisions to take into account when choosing how many spells to cast, and when to play Yogg. Let’s look at some of them: So, how have I fared with Yogg Hunter? Let’s check Ripple’s Yogg Count of Wins and Fails to see some fun stats! Yogg Count! Average amount of spells: ~13 (usually varying from 10-18) Yogg usage: ~80%? (I think play Yogg in about this many of my games, but I’m not sure) Win rate: ~55%? (The meta is really random, but I’m just keeping steady at Rank 4 for now…)
